Dementia Test
OK, so it isn't really a "professional" test, but it will find out if you're thinking straight. So take the test to see whether you are "losing it." 1. What do you put into a toaster? (scroll down) If you answered "toast", stop right now. Please don't handle any sharp objects and don't hurt yourself. If you answered "bread", go on to Question 2. 2. Say "silk" five times. Now spell "silk" out loud. What do cows drink? Oh, my. You didn't say "milk" did you? Cows drink water, of course. If you said "milk" you're probably stressed out and need to stop right now. If you said "water" go on to Question 3. 3. If a red house is made from red bricks and a blue house is made from blue bricks and a pink house is made from pink bricks and a black house is made from black bricks, what is a green house made from? Glass, of course! If you said "green bricks", what are you doing still reading these questions? If you said "glass" go on to Question 4. 4. It's twenty years ago, and a plane is flying at 20,000 feet over Germany. (Remember, Germany was divided into East and West Germany at the time.) During the flight, one of the engines fails. The pilot, realizing that the other engine is failing also, decides to crash-land, and something more goes wrong and the plane ends up in pieces in the middle of "no man's land" between East Germany and West Germany. Where do they bury the survivors, in East or West Germany, or in "no man's land"? OK, they don't bury the survivors. If you answered in ANY other way, please DO NOT ever try to rescue anyone from a plane crash! If you said "Don't bury the survivors" or something close to that, go on to Question 5. 5. Without using a calculator - You are driving a bus from London to Milford Haven in Wales. In London, seventeen people get on the bus. In Reading, six people get off the bus and nine get on. In Swindon, two people get off and four get on. In Cardiff, eleven people get off and sixteen get on. In Swansea, three people get off and five get on. In Carmathen, six people get off and three get on. You then arrive at Milford Haven. What was the name of the bus driver. You DO know your own name, right? You were driving the bus! Supposedly 95% of all people fail most of the questions. See how your smart-alecky friends do.
