These don't seem to go with any "known" Barnhart lines of Michael's. There is one David who would be about the right age, but someone will have to find a connection, probably in Maryland or Virginia. Until then, we keep playing the game....

Cousin Mickey for getting me started on the right track with info on Great-grandpappy John and her son Dale who allowed me to scan a bazillion of Mickey's documents.
Third cousin Neva for being stubborn enough to track down "my" branch of the family and corresponding with Mickey. She has a bale of documents from Ohio and especially info on John and his father, Great-great-grandpappy David.
Fourth cousin Andrea, who had the info on Great-great-great-grandpappy David Senior(!). Upon reading her documents, all the "conflicting" info on David started to make sense. And she has census data as well as a very generous spirit.
Fourth cousin Jane for a lot of Lambert info, including Francis' will.
A whole assortment of people who have posted stuff on the Web, and who gave me pushes in the right direction.
In gratitude to all of these nice people, I'm putting up this family tree. It's a Work In progress for sure. I'll be even better organized one of these days, but don't hold your breath.
Sometimes the name is spelled "Barnhard" (mostly after 1830), sometimes "Barnhart" (mostly before 1860 and today in some branches) and sometimes "Barnheart" on the documents. I'll surely not argue about the spelling with anyone!

Lately, though, my Web searches are only turning up my own site, which you are viewing right now. I think all of the other info has been absorbed into fee-based sites, which is too bad. Some people don't like others "stealing" their data and have deleted their Web sites. Myself, I can't afford $79.95 to go look at ship passenger lists, and another $79.95 to look at census data, and on and on. I can't even figure out who my grandmother's parents were, much less what boat they came from Wales on, if they came from Wales at all; I shall continue my search in Ohio, but that's a really big place....
