Time to put it all up A couple of afternoons for the tree and most of the decorations, then lots of time working on the electronics, plus building new decorations out of wood. Chasing down problems takes a couple of days total (mostly non-working light strings). We start in October.

How many lights are on at one time? Less than half the lights on average. Frequently the tree has only one color lighted, and various yard decorations may be on or off.
How many colors are there?Six. (It seems like more because they can be lighted in combinations.)
How many circuits are there?There are 96 separately-controlled outlets on the tree, plus six more for the tree "extras" such as the star, and 74 more independent circuits for the yard, all but a couple of which are in use.
